people forget that 2001 Destinys Child song "survivor" was the female version of Ether. Latoya and Latavias souls were burning so slow from that song that they took B and her pops to court because of it. Thats the one thing that will forever hang over B's head....that nasty attitude she had after the 1st two were kicked out of DC. B was looking real bad from the comments she was making meanwhile the 2 cast aways were pretty humble. The lead singer looked like a chocolate Beyonce...The 2nd singer looks like Letoyas older sister....The short one looks like Latavias older sister and the slim Puerto Rican is the slim Kelly.....I even remember Vibe magazine making a comment about how Destinys Child's real name should be Allure's Child.

Letoya is slept on as a singer.

2009 was the last good year for R&B. Mariah, Mary J Blige, Maxwell, Eric Roberson, Alicia Keys, R Kelly Melanie Fiona and The Dream all had dope albums...You can even throw Rihanna in that mix. Letoya's Lady Love was the most slept on that year yet was one of the best. I slept on it myself because her 1st album was hit and miss...But that 2nd album was dope from front to back...Not one wack song. Like I said she sounds like a more soulful version of Rihanna



Her latest single is a banger yet its slept on. It has that "Kelly Rowland motivation" vibe but it works. Kinda has me hype to hear that 3rd LP







Letoya put out a bunch of unrealeased songs that could have been a platinum selling EP with the right push. I'm saying all this because Letoya makes the kind of R&B that I can smoke to so thats why I'm acknowledging.
