I seem to be the rarity around here in believing that the first BTTF movie was the best one overall. 2 was really good though, but funny enough, since it took place in the near future for the first 1/2 of the film and that future is about to be today's present, in relevancy to our current day status (all in all, inaccurate) , we can see how that movie is going to both be ironically outdated and ahead of its time by some of the tech that they did show in that future, lol. This problem doesn't exist with the first film, as it timelessly portrays both the 80's and the 50's. Neither movie gets old though watching them.

Also, the third movie is hardly a bid flick at all IMO. Definitely the weakest of the 3, but not a weak film overall. It still portrays quite a bit of the similar themes that the first two did nearly just as well, with the chase scene thru hill valley and the tension of doing what was needed to get time back to how it was supposed to be. And at the same time, it had to be a totally different film than the others by simultaneously being a western and I think for what it's worth, they pulled it off well. Mad Dog Tannen was a G. fukk ya'll!

The third one was not bad but defenetly the weakest. It had its strong parts that I liked tho.

The thing with me is, I've never been a fan of Westerns. They have never interested me so that is the main reason I didn't like that one as much as the others. If u like Westerns u probably would enjoy that flick a lot more than I do.

And to the Star Wars fukkers, ya'll muthafukkas must've forgot the thread that went over on that flabby sick old site regarding these two franchises comparatively and that did not end well for ya'll advocates, lol!

And for the cat that said SW has the biggest cultural influence. Who gives a flying fukk what da masses feel. THe massess is dumbasses, always, thus proven with why most forms of mediums always attributing to the lowest common denominator and why George Bush Jr. was in office...TWICE!

Yeah, that's what I just said.

And yeah, the pulled of the western bit quite while, from the sub references, to shytting on Eastwood's name, to even changing the movie's main theme song into a westernized version. Thing I love most about this movie is the very clever script-writing of how they backtrack and foreshadow reference a lot of shyt. shyt is genius. But hey, if you fancy jarjar binks, ewoks and mitochondria, then more power to you.:troll:

And Bobo Fett has got to be the most overrated character in Star Wars ever. fukk him and fukk you if you think otherwise.

Yeah its crazy. Whoever wrote the BTTF trilogy was in the zone. I mean, its pretty amazing.

And yeah, no offence to the Star Wars geeks but the SW flicks have always been lame as f*ck to me. Not my thing at all. Not a Star Trek fan either.

I completely agree with the OP. Aliens and space just aren't for me. Back to the Future had about all the sci-fi aspects I can handle.

I find that most Star Wars fans like Star Wars because of its Expanded Universe. The first one was ambitious but it was severely limited by its budget, actors ability and technology. Its flaws are more obvious in the OG version. Empire Strikes Back is the best of all the six. Return of the Jedi is passable but only because the Han Solo got more screen time then that lame Skywalker.

Personally I think episode 3, 4 and 5 need to be remade. New director and an actual writer. Their lightsaber fights and gun battles are laughable. Han Solo's story shouldnt take over mid-saga. Luke shouldnt be a vapid drone. fukking Ewoks.

:aicmon: So Star Wars caters to lowest common denominator? You've seen the OG trilogy right? Cause if you have you should know it doesn't.
