I agree The Babadook kinda restored my faith that people still can make decant horror movies without resorting to jump scares there weren't many here and CGI. Honeymoon was ok i didn't really like how it ended the first half of the movie was pretty good though.

The Babadook was a such a disappointment to me. And I wanted to shoot myself almost anytime that annoying little boy was on screen.

I'm torn between going to see this and Foxcatcher right now. It seems like people either loved or were disappointed in this movie.

babadook was dope but once I found out that it was just a metaphor for depression it lost it's scare factor for me. But I'll admit I'm hard to please with the horror genre. I liked the movie but I don't see myself rewatching it much in the future. And that kid made me want to kill myself (yes I know this was deliberate)

More than depression breh. I don't know how far I can go into it without spoiling it for people

Babadook hands down restored my faith in the horror genre

I legit havent had the creeps after turning off a movie and sitting there like...i couldnt sleep right away.

The tiny hairs on my arms and back of my neck would rise frequently while watching it. Ive already re watched it several times with different people to see their reactions and how i enjoyed it on multiple viewings...

hands down, "creepiest" scary movie in a long long long time. I thoroughly enjoyed this more than the conjuring, which seems to be alot of ppls favorite horror flick as of late (which was a solid flick), but relied too much on what i call the "cheap scare" tactics. which babadook has ZERO of and still creeped me the fukk out.

terrific performances too, YES you were supposed to hate that kid, that was the entire point of his character. was for you to feel exactly like the mother did....

anyway, to each their own but if you didnt enjoy the babadook i just dunno what to say to you honestly
