With my current i only get 12 days off for an entire year. Think about that. 12 days off. This includes vacation and emergency

That's because a lot of companies have moved from the traditional 2 week vacation usually given out to a earned time vacation. where your vacation hrs are given out based on u coming to work..

This really piss me off at my last job. I was about to enter my fifth year, and at the END of that I was finally going to get some more vacation time. Unfortunately what you said happened. Im glad I left though; I was stagnant. No promotion in sight or hiring some new staff to spread the workload while management finds someone to fill the Chief position.
