Why wouldn't The Avengers sell more. Jamming a bunch of superheroes that have had their own films over the past couple of years into one movie is a recipe for dollars.

I can't believe nikkas is comparing movies now based on sales. Smfh. This is some "this is why lil Wayne is the best rapper alive" bullshyt in movie form. So what if a movie makes more than another? Which movie is the better film should be the real debate. The fact so many threads are popping up bragging about how much avengers made instead of its merits as a film shows how shook they are of the dark knight as a film.

I love both films, but its obvious to anyone with eyes which is the better film. It's like comparing illmatic to the carter 3, we know weezy has the sales, but nas has the timeless classic. Anyway, please don't let this become a habit in this forum, leave the sales talk to blind rap fans. Respect the art of film making and judge movies as films, not numbers and a dollar sign.
