If I watched movies on my comp or streamed to the PS3, it wouldn't be a problem. I prefer puttin' stuff directly on my PS3's HDD though. I could care less about the difference in quality. I usually watch movies once and delete most of 'em, especially superhero joints

Use mkv2vob to convert the mkvs to mpegs to throw them on the hdd and watch them like that
