Yea I'm doing investigations for part my ph.d dissertation and there is a lot of cloudy info on this one
The pd rushed to arrest a suspect, im curious about the kkk angle that was touched on too.
briefly tell a sample of your findings breh, im intrigued
Looking at the files, the paperwork is a complete mess....there's a lot of circumstantial evidence attached to Williams that doesn't have real credibility...I'm only at the beginning stages but I plan on doing some interviews with the parents of some of the children to get a full perspective...there is credible witnesses that place Williams in different areas from where some of the murders took place....
See my other post in this thread...plus some of the investigators almost got the case reopened recently because they doubted Williams too...it was a big deal here a few years ago and some of the parents were saying that the police didn't fully listen to their story...I'm primarily looking at how the mayor and city council dealt with the situation but I'm also dissecting the case
who was the mayor at this time? hope it wasnt maynard jackson. and if it was a white, maybe this had a undertone reason in the change of the color of politics in the city?:cube:
Yes it was Jackson so that's why it's so intriguing to me that this sloppy case was allowed to close implicating a black man

Yeah only 2. I actually saw a documentary about this a few days ago. They talked about the copycat theory and the one guy who says he had a kkk member confess to 2 murders but they never pursued it. I also want to say there was another suspect in prison for another crime so they never followed up on that angle. Williams case was almost all circumstantial even down to the so-called carpet fibers they claimed they found, but he hurt himself only because he acted a fool anytime the cameras were on him. He was a known hot-head but still in 90% of cases like this, dude would have been at least given a mistrial.
Probably some. I still think williams may have done some of them but I think there were copycats once the story broke. The only question I have is who all was involved.

its crazy how a lot of these old crimes the killers aint been caught, sad story that makes a good read
