Shreveport wasn’t no joke, my dad also told me stories of growing up in and around there on Cooper Road, the Bottom, Cedar Grove, etc.

A lot of things need to be addressed in the black community, but it won't happen due to stigma, generational curse, and pride. Folks always make this weird assumption that if you seek help, you are weak.

Nah, you supposed to drink, get high, and fukk the pain away but it's still there. When the mind is idoled, it welcomes all sorts of damaging chaos to either hurt people or hurt yourself. You know how many ticking time bombs are in the black community that will never get the help they properly need?

Hell, there was a random shooting in Philly where some dude just unloaded clips on innocent victims because "stuff". Mans mentally ill, but in Amerikkka's mind, he was a demon on a prowl.

That alone, along with issues with incest, drugs, and broken families will keep black folks from breaking the chains that binds.

I hope the day comes where we realize that we are hurting, we are broken, and we need help....but can I help myself to get help so we can all get help?

It's just something I noticed anecdotally about slim/skinny black men.

You don't see to many brolic black men commiting crimes at the rate of skinny/slim men.

This has nothing to do with me being fat, overweight, or obese or whatever folk wanna label me. It's something I noticed about the psychopathology of Negroes that are slim/skinny.

One could contribute to them maybe having higher levels of testosterone naturally as far absorbs testosterone. Then you add in trauma of surrounding situations such as poverty, domestic in home violence and racism it would create a hostile mentality coupled with being hungry naturally. But again this anecdotal for our community. I believe if we can be honest we can see there is a pattern.
