I have come to a soft realization that next generation is going to have me running back to pc full time and console gamer part time. Back when I was ten years ago and definitely as a teenager. Since everything is going digital, I view steam and pc as the best place to continue gaming down the line. I'm still going to get my physicals but realistically, I don't see physicals really existing for the newer consoles. Switch 2? Yes. Ps5 pro is probably not going to have a drive and I doubt any Xbox will going forward.

I'm updating my 2024 preorders spreadsheet and I subconsciously realized that I was going to wait till hades 2 hit consoles next year. Scratched that now and going to get it for pc in june. I'm finally going to play elder scrolls online, going to do that on pc. Will get all sports game digitally going forward save for collector's edition version of the game.

Guess I'm about to help Gabe buy another yacht, hahaha.

Bought one of those joysticks for smartphone. It is hilarious how ps2 games via emulator are destroying whatever official mobile games are out there.

The fact that you can play games from your phone such as mortal kombat shaolin monks, midnight club 3 remix, nba street vol 3, etc. and mobile game makers haven't come up with anything that interesting shows how lazy game developers are. No ads, no in game purchases or anything for ps2. Meanwhile you download some bullshyt game app that yells you half of the features to unlock will be premium.....yeah right.

I have no idea about iOS, I'm using Android. The app is called Aethersx2

I am using an old version 1,5 as I've read the original creator of this app stopped making them and whoever took over made the app much worse in performance. So older versions (that are not available in official app stores) are the way to go.

This stuff makes mobile gaming companies look like a joke as majority of mobile games are weak copy attempts of classic console games.

Tomb Raider 1-III Remastered gameplay. Level 1, no secrets, straight run. Played in both original and remastered graphics, tank controls enabled, d-pad play. Notice you can play FMVs in remastered mode and it de-pixelates.

Personally I prefer the original graphics for whatever reason.

Good product. Check it out if you like dungeon crawlers, slow/deliberate gameplay, exploration, puzzles, environmental platforming.
