I haven’t played it but I was thoroughly impressed with Larian’s last game, Divinity 2. They know what they’re doing

It’s very likely that it’s as good as the hype, that being said CRPGs are pretty deep and not a genre for the faint of heart. Combat can be very complex and doesn’t really look “fun” when watching someone else play

If you have the space, and I think you do, minus whale get a cockpit to mount all the peripherals so that you don't spend too much time moving shyt around like I do.

It's actually good but you gotta be willing to learn how the game works lots of DND elements. I'd try pathfinder wrath of righteous first since it's incredibly cheap right now and if you can get into that then you'll love bg3
