"This, you may be assured, is a negro, not an Indian war; and if it be not speedily put down, the south will feel the effects of it on their slave population before the end of the next season."
- General Jesup

The utter fear in this quote is:ohlawd: the general was actually shook

now look how they got us not by outsmartening but by childish neophyte strategies:

"The pressure from the slave owners soon got to Jesup and he went into secret negotiations with one of the American-friendly chiefs to turn over "all captured Negroes" to the whites".

We exchanged knowledge with them (The Native Americans) but they still sold us out..

This is why we HAVE TO unite as a whole.. TILL THIS DAY these type of action are still taking place

Thank You Brother, I never seen or heard this before.

And it all went down the drain, mostly because of uncle tom ******s that ruined it.

I've been telling people on this site since the start that the REAL indians are also black people.

Judah and Reuben united :obama:

Many of the "indians" today are not indians. They have a saying called the "2 dollar indian", they were letting white people sign the document that was for indians to get land and all that for 2 dollars, so many of them got free land and benefits for free. Typical Cac shyt.

I knew Seminole indians where basically runaway slaves and indians coming together under the title "Seminole" Seminole was not some indian tribe or nothing like that, so doesnt suprise me many of them were black

Speaking of which never mind the skin or look of these "Indians" maybe they've been mixed down just like some of us have through the Generations- who knows :yeshrug:

But...just listen to this story of John Horse on how he would get the troops ready with planning, convert the previous slaves into soldiers in mid-battle & just STYLE on them while doing it.

:heh: He also loved his blackwoman's backside something serious :ahh:
This is a story that has been passed down through the centuries about him. It is FASCINATING & (if you guys in particular) listen to this (I know its somewhat hard to understand the old man...will appreciate the story very much toward the end

the turtle story goes along with this story when he was a kid...

John Horse, also known as Gopher John (Juan Cavallo/Caballo), was an interpreter and war leader during the Second Seminole War. There is an interesting legend as to how John Horse acquired the nickname, "Gopher John." He had owned a few turtles and was asked to sell them to a U.S. Army Commander. The commander kept asking John to supply him with more turtles and paid John for them. When it was time for a big turtle meat banquet at the Army camp, the commander noticed only a few turtles in the pen. John had re-sold the officer his own turtles over and over again. At first angry, then mollified by John's ingeniousness, he made the youth supply the turtles paid for and nicknamed him Gopher John to serve as a constant reminder of his prank.

I gotta check this out. On a side note, I recommend y'all check out a book called The History of the American Indians by James Adair. He was an Edomite who lived amongst different Seminole tribes like the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek etc in the 1700's. He makes it a point to talk about their customs and traditions that lead him to believe they were truly one of the Lost Tribes of Israel. The book is very long and I haven't made it far into it and it's been awhile, so I probably have to start it back over :beli:

"It is confidently hoped that ten years intercourse with the whites has so far corrupted and demoralized the Seminoles as to make them incapable of protracted resistance. The miserable creatures will be speedily swept from the face of the earth."

funny that you see a lot of the same tactics being used today....from those at the top convincing poor whites to fear us so we never link up and see all poor people getting played....the rift between the Creek Indians and the Seminole Indians when the whites came with that little bag of money and a pat on the head that had them feeling like the "civilized Indians"....its what goes on between black people still to this day...people like to think this shyt that happens now is different, but history really does repeat itself, which is why its important to know shyt they don't want you to know, they would hate for people to make the connection like "Hey they doin the same bullshyt to us they did to them:patrice:"....they probably would hate for poor white people to continuously see this almost as much as us.
There is sooo much to this shyt right here.

I'm posed to meet this indian dude(east) for some business shyt at 9..... imma spend the next couples hours researching this shyt right here before I go because I didn't know a gottdamn thing about it. .

they also started using 'unfair' war tactics etc.

Let that be a lesson learned as well

Jesup now decided to throw out all the rules of war. He used hostages to gain meeting with leading Seminoles. Once the Seminole leaders came under the white flag of truce, Jesup would seize them as prisoners.

"We disclaim all participation in the 'glory' of this achievement of American generalship, which, if practised toward a civilized foe, would be characterized as a violation of all that is noble and generous in war."
- Niles National Register, November 4, 1837
