I own some amc but the problem with this is his estimate of every holder averaging 300 shares, which he believes to be a low estimate. I don’t think the average investor has anything close to 300 shares and most probably have less than 50. Unless he’s including the whales and their huge positions in his average I just don’t see it.
But I’ll admit to knowing nothing about stocks and I don’t really like the market. I bought amc because I missed out on gme and I noticed amc was at $3 and I knew that was ridiculously low. I knew nothing about a squeeze I just knew the movie theatres in this country would be back and the stock should rise to about $15-20.
what do you realistically think this is gonna do? Not theoretically, but realistically.
I sold at 27. I always guess wrong
I've been in since january. Throwing $500 a week in. I'm still a rookie. But the information about this has been a part time job for me. I spend hours a day reading and watching videos. This situation continues to exceed my expectations with each new development. They've literally put a dozen rules in place so that they can unwind this as safely as possibleI’ve been reading your posts. Please keep the info coming.

This!
I have a few buddies who make real good paper and each of them have less than 200 shares except 1 who has 250. I'm holding 100 right now.
But yea, his idea of most people holding 300 shares is built off the assumption that the majority of people jumped in when it was $3 per share which I doubt millions of people did.
