I fukk with TD Ameritrade.
yeah I learned my lesson that last time. I’ll admit i have been using fidelity more and more lately and if they ever get pies like M1 that I could add OTC to I’d main it.
It wouldn’t be worth the cost to move it. Just build a position in fidelity. My plan is just to have shares in multiple locations. I am fully expecting some bs to occur.

Citadel, the main & biggest hedge fund that's been shorting amc & gme, is Robinhood's biggest customer. They pay them for the order information overflow or whatever its called. Which is basically the trading info of all the users in robinhood. They use this info to gain an advantage over retail traders.
Robinhood is going to do everything they can to help citadel. If you're with robinhood, you are literally with the enemy who's working against your interests.

A year ago I transferred my shares from robinhood to TD it took 3 days

just be sure that when you set up your TD account, you make it a CASH ACCOUNT and not a margin account. They will ask you that question in the beginning while you finalize your setup.
I’ll tell you what. Just imagine if the short/squeeze happens and they sale off all of your stock. Or they are using your stock to help cover. Or you decide to add more but they won’t allow you to do it.
now what if I told you that all of this stuff happened a few months ago.

They halted options and margin, if you were using straight cash you were good, people have no idea what their talking about, and weren't even holding gamestop at the time of the halt, because they would be rich
IN the law suit with they claim Charles Shwab halted traded, but they started they only increased margin requirements, and they can do that anytime that's right
most people were using options and margin, so they couldn't take new positions until they deposited more money
None of this true man, and even it was, they can't sell your stock for you, only if you are using margin and are over the maintenance requirements, you either deposit more money or you get margin called and they gotta sell some more shares
people trying to use borrowed money to get rich, they wanted to make sure they had enough money to actually pay for the shyt
because all they can be wiped out in an instant once people start cashing out and selling
that's why your always suppose to use your own money, margin and options, all that shyt is some bullshyt, they can stop it at anytime, and you are basically gambling anyway
