They're buying time and spreading FUD. All while writing articles about which stocks people _should_ be focused on instead hoping they'll move money out of an uncertain AMC into the other shiny object.

at this point this propaganda machine is just further wasting money. and they need to go ahead and get it over with people are going to hold. Stuff like this makes even more people hold because it's insulting intelligence.

It's more like a credit card or charge card at this point but without a defined due date.
Imagine being a pro athlete....let's say Tom Brady.
Brady probably has an AMEX Black card. There's no real "limit" per se and he can buy as much shyt as he wants. Dude could buy a Lamborghini, Porsche Carrera and McLaren P1 using the card and American Express wouldn't blink.
What the hedge funds are doing....it's like if he bought a new ride every day and charged it to the AMEX Black. At some point, he's going to have to pay it all back. They're letting him run up a crazy bill but he just keeps spending and spending and spending.
Hedge Funds don't really have a plan. They can't force anyone to sell and that's THE ONLY way the game ends. They can borrow shares and mess around with orders in the dark pool but that's just kicking the can.
