I was in this boat a few weeks ago.

Not optimal but I sold my stock in CashApp and bought them in TD Ameritrade. Lost a few bucks in between

I was thinking bout it, but I wasn't sure how much fukkery would screw with me while transfering shares mid squeeze.

EDIT: At this point, I'm thinking they are underway too much scrutiny to mess with cash accounts.

I started off with robinhood but opened an account with td ameritrade almost a year ago. I still had money in RH though and bought 30 shares of amc, after reading about how shady they were when gamestop was running I transferred the account over to TD.

took about a week and the $75 transfer fee came out of the cash I had in my TD account. if you don't have enough free cash in TD it'll just go into the negative and you can just deposit some, that won't automatically stop the transfer or anything

How do you know if your account is cash or not?

I don't have Robinhood Gold.

What about the money left on RH from partial share sell off? I thought they did a residual sweep every week but I still have money sitting in RH that I can't manually withdraw or deposit myself into my TD Ameritrade account.
