I'm not 100% on this.

But I think they may have purchased a lot to cover the $40 strike price. But not so much on the $50, and probably little to none for $60, or better.

That's why keeping this below $60 is so important/valuable to them.

Again, I'm not 100% sure on this. This is just me trying to put X,Y, Z together from different things I've read.

And I'll try to add to this.


They have X amount of capital to use to save themselves as much money as they possibly can.

Some of that will be used to drive the price down and some of it will be used to cover.

They don't want to over spend either way, cuz failure on both fronts only multiplies the losses.

So, at the end some of that money has to be saved to use used at the very end when they see how good, or bad their tactics worked.

That's when will be the real gamma, if were still at the right price.

Just my opinion on the share count.

I think knowing AMC has a healthy business 2022 and beyond would be good news for the squeeze.

Everybody gets a vote and I respect people voting no.

I agree with both sides of the argument also. Its sending a message if it doesn't pass. Its creating a more profitable, healthy company if it does. Cant lose, squeeze is happening regardless.

Last Wednesday they dropped it from 60s to 40s I believe

this week couldn’t even get it below 55

it’ll prob be around 45 by Friday but it’s hard to see them getting under 40

Closing above 40 on Friday = gamma squeeze= me buying my own island and trading in this Camry for 3 lambos

What is chipotle's market cap? What are chipotle shares going for?

I remember I only had like 20 shares I bought with snack money at a whim. I was going to get rid of them cause in the OG thread everyone was laughing at AMC but then I Really Mean It said these shyts would blow up, whole thread clowned him, but he kept fighting the good fight so something in me just said “hey you only threw popcorn money at this shyt anyway, if this dude is going through all this ridicule and still standing by his convictions why not just see where this goes” it was literally the only reason I held to them 20 joints. Kinda like walking past one of them drunken old heads preaching about the apocalypse and everybody just ignores them but you stop and listen I’ve managed to grab some more since then, went from 20 shares to 68 shares. minuscule piece, but it’s my piece and I take pride in the fact that my instincts told me to listen to the broski @I Really Mean It if this shyt really goes the way we want it to, I’ll be telling this story to my future kids EVERY family gathering

I want to work my way to at least 100 shares but I don’t have the capital to do so without starting to touch money I’m not comfortable with “losing” so I’m doing it incrementally. I’ll be able to grab some more later this month, hopefully it’s not too late by then

looking at Reddit, there’s a cosiderable number of people with under 30 shares and I guess cause our stakes are so low we’re all prepared to hold until our lungs turn black

@Uchiha God dogg I wish I could say I had foresight or whatever, but that wasn't the case at all. I was in a similar situation as you but in real life. One of my best friends put his life savings in this shyt back in February and he would be telling the group chat every damn day about it and for the first month we ignored him called it a conspiracy theory. He finally broke me after like 2 months nonstop of this shyt and I was like whatever, let me just buy what I can afford to lose so I can at least condone his dumb ass Reddit links and Twitter screenshots every day. Eventually a bunch of us bought how many ever we could afford to lose and it's been a fun ride. Essentially the same as this thread. Just a bunch of regular ass dudes trying to come up on some bread in a legal way and sharing information in a positive, respectful manner.

Had a few shares at the beginning of the year and @Ineedmoney504 dropping racks with no remorse inspired me to do the same thing. I really hope all of us get to feast off of this. Other than a few clowns this board has some really cool people.
