The AMC Stock Discussion Thread

Kicking myself for ignoring this thread earlier, but got in yesterday. Think it’s still early after research.

Edit: Invested $3.7K yesterday. Turned into $7K just today.

Liquidated $2K Of a dog stock and invested another grand. That G turned into $1.7K.

Mad at myself for not just dropping the full $2K. Cost basis is still only $34 so I’m dropping at least another grand tomorrow.

Is a significant dip day possible in the midst of what is currently going on? The way GME went from $483 to $67 in a matter of days, could something similar to that happen here? $10-20 range?

My interpretation of of it all was that Robin Hood suspending buys and hedge fund selling pressure discouraged a lot of people just learning and jumping in for the first time.

Some held on because of faith or knowing better. They convinced others that it wasn’t over using evidence that they shorts were never covered. More and more people jumped in and pushed the price back up. The shorters seem to have to do a lot more to get lessening results.

I don’t see it dropping that low again unless everyone, out of countless shareholders, gives up.
Yesterday we even saw what happened when a huge amount of shares are bulk sold when a hedge fund dropped 8.5 million shares of AMC. That shyt barely made a dent, then the price skyrocketed. The only real danger would be every broker blocking any and all buying ability while allowing “sells”.

Here’s my question tho, why did GME stop going up? Aside from some markets halting orders why hasn’t it already gone up past 1,000 a share?

it will, short sellers continue to lose money on GME everyday. short sellers will eventually be margin called. they sold their crypto to keep their short activities going.

What are the ways they can get away with not paying people if this really does go off. Is there a way they can refuse to pay out?
