No . Certain apps were preventing share buying and there were a variety of hypotheses as to why . I was knee deep in that shyt . I recall vividly . Folks were talking about lawsuits and shyt :mjlol:
This was just a normal halt on the stock exchange, not brokerage

This is why I’m glad I held on go at least -5 shares. I knew it would go back up eventually but I didn’t expect this:wow: I just want it to keep rising:dame:

Sold at $50 thought it would go past $60 but when it halted I started panic selling :snoop:

Only bought 10 shares at $100 came up $450, I’m not mad at all

how does this work with options, tho my boy just 10x from only putting in $200
The reason it’s going 10x is because the contract is like owning 100 shares
So it’s the gain of the price he bought at x 100

never panic sell when halted. if anything, check the candles first before selling.

your boy did what I did. buy a call option (option to buy 100 shares at a set strike price with a set expiration). he can exercise his option and sell it back to the market, he doesn't have to buy the shares just sell the contract. do this with any stock you think will spike, but the earlier the better since amc call options are expensive due to the current price.

I didn’t say it was the same FOH.
No you said this

They halted GME for nebulous reasons last time . They can halt that shyt for whatever reason they want to lol
in response to a person saying this halt was “normal”

Obviously trying to equate the two situations.

You seem a bit aggy breh. Running in here detracting and shyt every chance you get.

You shoulda just bought some shares when they were cheap :manny:

I'm just going by their performance in the past before covid, and they were doing well financially and their investments were starting to pay off.
That has absolutely nothing to do with why the short squeeze is inevitable. The math is clear: hedges shorted the company with hundreds of millions of shares (some say over a billion), but retail didn’t flinch, continuing to buy them up and raising the price, which now forces hedge funds to buy them back from us.

Doesn’t matter if AMC is a failed lemonade stand operation; the hedges still have to cover.
