$500; maybe a bit more/less with the APE shyt symbol.
Hoping it can get to 50% loss and I will sell that loss
Please school me. If I can write off a loss I will probably take it. Last play was the Amazon buy out but that’s probably not happening

I'm unsure of your entry point (I bought AMC at its height of $50 , so it would have to go up 500% for me to lose HALF; 1000% increase to break even).

Once you sell a stock, ANY stock at a loss it does not count against you in taxes. I've never done htis myself as my CPA does it but there is free tax software for this:
Tax Loss Carryovers
If your net losses in your taxable investment accounts exceed your net gains for the year, you will have no reportable income from your security sales. You may then write off up to $3,000 worth of net losses against other forms of income such as wages or taxable dividends and interest for the year.

this is realistically where I am guessing the bulk of traders holding AMC long are at, they will exit once they reach a certain loss % threshold. or maybe best case scenario, break even & dip.

the idea that this thing will squeeze, and wall street will get their comeuppance, being held hostage by thousands of patient retail investors who end up getting an insane payout, is laughable.

I've been called everything but a child of God by some people in this thread for trying to apply basic logic. There's no way an unprofitable movie theater is going to ever be sold at the prices dudes were holding out for.

I made a 1000% profit off an options play, brought in at $4 and sold all but one share when it was running between $30 - 50.

MOASS has always been a scam
Man, stop acting like a bytch… 😂 You clearly haven’t seen the record levels of Cost-to-Borrow, 20+ days on Regsho/FTD, etc. Goldman-Sachs just issued a price target between 160-175 today. This is a play. If you don’t believe in the play, cool. But why do you keep coming in here just hating on brothers trying to win?

Now I’m definitely still holding, but I can’t find a truly reputable site that states this.

#AMC accounts for less than .000025% of the total market capitalization of all publicly traded companies in the United States.

While at the exact same time— accounts for 10.3% of the entire industry’s revenue from lending securities!

Total Return Swaps = ♾️ Lending

After institutional investors and corporate insiders— roughly 338,496,000 shares are publicly owned by 3.8M individual investors.

This would mean the avg. American invested in #AMC has a total of 89.07 shares each.

You’re witnessing the greatest financial rouse of the Century!

Sit your goofy ass down. Goldman-Sachs did not put on a $260 billion valuation on a cash strapped movie theater
