I suspected the media does this when I first got into crypto (2017) when those in our group were encouraging friends/family to buy into certain projects when prices were low and there was no hype the media was down on crypto…a few months later when shyt ran up and those in our group were discussing selling off certain projects, the very same media outlets, stations, personalities etc. were then convincing viewers to get into crypto even tho a crash seemed imminent to us
