It don't matter how much I'm down. I'm telling you I'm here for a squeeze play. What other math you need, family?

Believe the words I type. I'm not stressed about my AMC/GME position.

But I do hear the frustration of those who thought this would happen last June. And I do respect the opinion of those who think this is a lost cause.

you blame me for not answering questions and then ignore mine and call it noise

if It was as simple as “insert deposit. take out return. get stupid rich”. why wouldnt every financial advisor on the planet be telling their clients to load up on AMC? If the MOASS is mechanically “guaranteed“ wouldn’t every hedge fund/ money manager/ saavy investor
in the world be buying AMC shares right now? especially in a bear market? why did even the CEO of AMC sell his shares? he’s literally guaranteed to be the wealthiest man in the world according to your logic yet he’s reducing his position

you’re in a cult breh.

A squeeze doesn't work like that. Since the game is rigged, someone shorting stocks can just keep paying short interest and kicking the can down the road. It's an unknown length play. You're basically either need an economic down turn or a crowdsourced DRS movement to force the Shorts to close or get margin called. This is probably the first time in history retail has organized a squeeze. Hedge funds are fighting back with dark pools where they can hide the true value of shares (illegal).

It should be obvious that AMC's prices is being artificially manipulated. Any good news drops, the share price goes up then immediately gets hammered back down.

The fact that so many insiders are whining about this is evidence enough they're worried. If this was just dumb money they'd keep their mouths shut and collect checks. But, they know that the longer this draws out and the more synthetic shares they have to keep conjuring up, the higher the squeeze price will be.

IMO GME holders are strategizing this better because they've already DRSed about 55% of the float. I think that's why GME's price is so much more stable. But, I like AMC far more as a company (even though I don't trust the CEO a damn bit).

"Buy on rumors sell on news" is as old as the market itself. Just a sign of people taking profits. I was trading penny stocks ten years ago, AMC behaves no differently. There's a nice little run heavily influenced by pumpers, who will sell when there's good PR. Remember there's always somebody on the opposite of that transaction. After the good news dump, a new generation of bag holders is created who either sell at a loss ("weak hands") or hold until the next little run up and then decide to exit. Rinse and repeat.

The fact you think this is a sign of "artificial manipulation" shows how inexperienced and new to the game you are.

But you're not explaining why a short squeeze is not possible.

There are 190m shares short on AMC. AMC isn't going out of business anytime soon.

Why is a short squeeze not on the table. Explain.

But I look at the shorts on record.

At any given time there are plenty of stocks that have "shorts on record".

When I pull up lists of stocks with highest short interest AMC isn't there any more and hasn't been for a while

What makes AMC a better play than any other heavily shorted stocks now/ at any given time? The APE community? The fact the CEO said "bankruptcy is off the table" ?
