possible chain reaction or possibly nothing, LOL. at least on the surface, they are considered "meme stocks" shorted with several others as well. GME appears to be the most volatile of the bunch. several people here are invested in both, so it can be convenient to drop news here from time to time.

GME & AMC move in parallel. When GME pops so does AMC and vice versa. There are days when AMC is inexplicably up big and there's literally no other reason other than GME spiked.

I am not sure what it really means, other than shows a mob mentality/ FOMO, and if anything perhaps reflects on the overall lack of fundamentals/ sound reasoning/ logic that drives AMC pps ... but to say GME has nothing to do with AMC is silly when they are almost attached at the hip in terms of actions & reactions

the stock is shorted heavily, aren't the hedge funds losing money daily? when do they plan on covering and this skyrocketing?
