After looking at the trailer again, he doesn't look bad as I thought. There were some parts that reminded me of how Parker was in Spider-man 3 with the black suit...
And it may not be as common now cuz the style is being played out, but it's not just an internet thing. I've seen some white boys rocking this look IRL outside the internet.
I miss the old Harry with the caeser and sporting waves...

If you look at this actor, you can see dude's hairline is way too far back to be able to pull off the classic look. He'd probably need a wig or something.
An interesting angle I like with this movie and the first one and I'm assuming it'll be for the rest of the series, is Peter Parker creating his own enemies, similarly to the whole thing Tony was saying at the beginning of iron man 3. Lizard was partially his creation and so is Electro due to him just being full of himself. I'm assuming Goblin will be a result of that too in one way or another. It's cool that the series is actually exploring Peter's hubris and recklessness

As it should. Actually, I'm not one of those fans clamoring for her death or saying she has to go exactly the way she went in the comic, it won't bug me one way or another to be real, but Peter works best as a character when he's tested and has to deal with stuff that anyone else would crack under and he also has to learn to be a better guy and better hero through those situations and if this is one of them, then so be it
