I don't mean to be a pessimist but it made me cringe how in each episode during the Professor Gates would have the McDonalds and Bank of America commercials be shown....Yes I know the CEO of McDonalds is a Black man but still to portray those two companies in a film about Black people?

For this episode, they discussed the history of slavery itself, the beginnings of slavery in Africa, the slave trade, one of the first African males in the Americas, a African girl by the slave name Priscilla and her modern day descendants, and now they're talking about how slaves built this nation and develop their own culture.

It's a lot... :whew:

But darn good... :obama:

unless they talk about the first slaves being euro and the first slaves in the americas being Euro, then I don't want to hear it. The distortion of history has our people already brainwashed. We had our own culture before slavery, man fukk PBS.
