Largest free trade bloc in effect next month. Idk how I feel about this brehs. I already know Morocco has an agreement with the EU on free trade. This could be a back door entrance to have the African continent as a dumping ground.
I can't wait to be on ground this December. So much is going on at the moment.

Yeah I think we talked about that Morocco thing in one of the threads...

Funny thing is Nigeria is recently did this with rice. The Economist ran a piece on it

However, implementation is often tough due to porous borders. I will say this, Nigeria did not sign the agreement (which is good policy on their part). I don't know where I've ever seen a 55 country free trading bloc. There are numerous trading blocs through out Afrrica. ECOWAS, EAC, COMESA, SADC etc Work on those first.
This is what it'll turn into. African leaders are just too myopic to see this.

Not sure about that. I know countries like France gonna be looking to dump their goods into West Africa for the cheap. Let's see how it pans out.

Nigeria is a country that doesn't even need a super smart leader, just a few competent people in charge, and it could start having large growth. smh
