I skipped thru the Cope and Big Bill match but been watching ever since. Pac and Komander had a good one. At the DG and Shibata match now. Typical technical match, nothing special or bad. Def agree that Hangman promo was kinda odd. Not sure how that match next week with CD will go. I guess Malakai is gone then. Wish him well if he is. Hopefully Buddy and Brody are featured more, and Julia.

I saw a video on Twitter about the Jericho match. Some segment where he tried hitting Dax with the belt and it looked so sloppy. Was planning on skipping that match anyways but they need to just tell him to hang it up if he gonna make the matches look bad. :francis:

Meh. It was fine but Collision needs to find its identity again.

It wants to be the purest version of Sicko AEW at the moment but they rarely put a card together where it's 2 hours of PPV-quality wrestling... often it feels like a 2hr episode of Superstars... even for me the steak needs a little more sauce.

If they're adding another hour somewhere make that the Sicko Club all-wrestling show.. treat Collision exactly like Dynamite but with different angles. Two hours of TV-grade wrestling needs fukkery to boost the stamina of the audience. :yeshrug:

Talent don't have to be brand split, but if stories were reliably tied to shows it'd give a reason to tune in to both. :yeshrug:

They do put some storylines/angles on Collision. The only problem is it doesn’t feel important enough. It’s like “here’s this, ok let’s move on.” TK needs to push Collision more as must watch. Literally treated like Rampage.

I can't think of the last storyline where we knew we'd only see it progress on Collision, but then I can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing at work tomorrow morning either so there's that. :flabbynsick:

This feels on point. From what I remember, Thunder was never treated as a big deal even when they had stars on the show.
Yeah there was occasionally something of interest. But, the show itself just kind of felt like it was filling a content requirement. And at the same time it didn't feel anything like the final years of WCW Saturday Night where the show was just 2 hours of matches that had nothing to do with what was happening on Mondays or leading into a PPV etc.
