I knew about this from my independent studies ...that's why I hate the term "cold war" I call that period "world war 3". Because shyt was heated all over the globe with U.S. and Russia pulling this kinda shyt ....mostly U.S. though.

The most sickening part is when you realize how many African wars they blame on inept greedy African rulers were actually western operations to destabilize governments. They show you Africans fighting on CNN but never tell you about their hand in it. :scust:

As someone above said they simply never tell you this stuff in school.
That's another reason I really want to start doing some free community African history & culture classes in the park after my online business is fully self sustaining & healthy. :jbhmm:

Yeah proxy wars. You right, shyt was lit...in.the worse ways for what I think they called Non Aligned Nations, meaning they were on the fence about whether they supported the U.S. or U.S.S.R style of governance. So yeah, Latin America, Africa, parts of Asia were in the political crossfire, that became violent in many places.

One of the low key goals of Obama was to stop our old policy of supporting fukked up dictators just because they cosigned US requests. That always ended up with blowback when the people finally overthrew the dictator. That's what the Arab Spring was supposed to be, but Iraq fukked up and let Iran clown them and set ISIL loose.

The U.S. Military and CIA trained ISIL/ISIS, Al Qaeda and any other group over there even supplied them with Russian arms.

At the beginning of mean streets
just google "School of the Americas".

america has been training goons from all over the western hemisphere for decades to overthrow left wing governments.

and that shyt aint pretty.
And the Chicago boys, had a had in all these South American countries being destabilized a la Friedman. Friedman was an "advisor" to different presidents. He preached Chicago school capitalism, put them in wars, convinced them to adopt it, and then would take their resources and the cost of living would sky rocket (as well as the country's debt).

You want to know how crazy all of this shyt really is. Think about this. The CIA armed and financed the mujahideen in Afghanistan after Russia had at first financed and then invaded the Democratic Republican of Afghanistan in support of a puppet government loyal to the Kremlin. That was the beginning of the Soviet-Afghan war.
Operation Cyclone - Wikipedia
Soviet–Afghan War - Wikipedia

At first you just think that it is just some typical shyt that the USA does; so no big deal. Except for the fact that this dude and his followers fought with the mujahideen:

Bin Laden comes home to roost

The covert action led indirectly to the Soviet Union collapsing economically and several terrorists attacks in the USA, including on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In addition to their economy collapsing the Russian Army lost over 15,000 troops and another 35,000 were injured. The Russians and extremist Islamic groups all hate the USA now, because of the shyt that went down in Afghanistan. Now everything is alright because Trump likes Putin.

What could possibly go wrong. I am pretty sure that the Russians don't want to get any revenge. :russ:

:wow:

As every cell in Chile will tell
The cries of the tortured men
Remember Allende, and the days before,
Before the army came
Please remember Victor Jara,
In the Santiago Stadium,
Es verdad - those Washington Bullets again

And in the Bay of Pigs in 1961,
Havana fought the playboy in the Cuban sun,
For Castro is a color,
Is a redder than red,
Those Washington bullets want Castro dead
For Castro is the color...
...That will earn you a spray of lead

New Files Reveal US Sold Argentina Military Aircraft to Dump Bodies in Ocean

Under the military dictatorship in Argentina, thousands of political opponents were drugged, tossed into aircraft and dumped in the ocean.

Declassified documents on Operation Condor reveal that the U.S. knew and assisted the Argentine dictatorship as it threw unconscious prisoners to their death in notorious “vuelos de la muerte,” or death flights.

Under the military dictatorship in Argentina, thousands of political opponents were drugged, tossed into aircraft and dumped in the Atlantic Ocean to drown.

According to Adolfo Scilingo, an Argentine naval officer during the dictatorship, the navy conducted death flights every Wednesday between 1977 and 1978, killing up to 2,000 people.

Newly released documents on Operation Condor, the 1970s covert efforts to topple and temper progressive governments outright in South America, show that the U.S. not only knew about the lethal flights — they provided military equipment.
