I think I enjoyed it more than all the other winners. Obviously there are many more to choose from, but it seems to eclipse the other winners

For sure, tied with Birdman for me.

Not that many great choices last decade at all. The fukking Artist it cleaned up at the Oscars, and literally no one talks about that movie

i actually watched like an hour of it this year and my biggest takeaway was...

having eminem perform seemed really random and weird. just him doing an old hit completely out of nowhere had us like

He didn’t attend or perform Lose Yourself when it won the Oscar for Best Original Song. Didn’t think it was going to win. That’s why.

Argo winning was a bit of a joke as well, enjoyable movie, sure, but extra, extra lightweight. There was so much from 2012 that was more deserving. The Artist, I never even bothered to see that, or Green Book, or Shape of Water.

12 Years a Slave was very good, as was Birdman, and Spotlight, but easily Ex Machina is a better movie than Spotlight from 2015, no question. But, Spotlight was very old Hollywood style journalism, just the facts type of movie.

My opinion is partial but I believe that QT should have got Best Director. He directed multiple facets. Literally films inside of films and the TV shows.
