I would have rather been a teenager in the 80s instead of the 90s, but in the 70s South Dekalb mall was in a white neighborhood, my mom would have had to move somewhere else, but she would have figured it out.

there was only like maybe something like 18-30 channels back then and hell some folks ain’t even have cable
Them days of turning to the “tv guide” channel to watch the scroll of all the channels to see what was on tv or coming on
Listening to porn and PPVs on the scrambled channels

Think TCM and AMC. They play classics. I’m sure in the 80s people was watching classic films featuring people like Betty Davis.
Seen the first season of this but I have a hard time watching as the main woman reminds me a lot of one of my exes (look wise).
