For fukkery reasons, I wished they did a WCW night on RAW. Have the classic set, theme and hell even bring Schiavone in too lol. Have talent interact with classic WCW talent with matches and segments. Knowing Vince this idea would probably doing WCW Saturday Night on the Network At 5 pm on a random Saturday night in the fall :beli:

In retrospect but during the WAR? It was not the HIGHLIGHT of the whole thing despite what Jericho may think.

I disagree. The crusierweights/luchadores ABSOLUTELY were a big part of WCW's success, and guys like Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio, Juventud, and Psicosis played a part in making that division pop in '97. Plus guys like Malenko & Jericho beefing for the strap made it one of the better parts of the show.

WCW did a TON of things right and better during the MNW. make no mistake Eric Bischoff changed the business

Exactly, I'm so sick of this narrative that WCW was an absolute shyt show that somehow got lucky.

They were just blatantly better than Raw from '96-'98.

From the luchadors to the mid carders to guys like Goldberg, DDP, Sting, and an old but still effective Ric Flair, they did the damn thing.

What happened was AOL/Time Warner didn't want to be in the wrestling business anymore.

If they hadn't made that decision, WCW would still be around and would've probably made some sort of comeback like they did from that horrific early '90s period.
