If the Mets lose this series, I’m gonna be glad that I won’t have to hear about Ohtani for the rest of the year
Lowkey becoming insufferable. Between the gambling sh*t, him pretending he didn't know about his interpreter fooling around with his money, 50/50, the $800M deferred into 2050 or whatever it was, him being a glorified DH, doesn't play a position........I'm done with this dude.

just popped in from Yankees headquarters

We have our own crackhead manager who makes dumb decisions to worry about after tonight’s game.

But as the sun sets on another Mets season (by the end of this weekend), we’d like say good riddance and congrats on over achieving when it mattered the most.

Yall ran into a real team this time around who will prevent yall from getting destroyed in another Subway (World) Series.

BTW, we’d be more than happy to trade Boone for Lindor straight up.

Oh, and let Alonso walk.

Mike Piazza was just interviewed on the local news here in Tampa! :krs: He's busy making moves about baseball in Italy, that's probably why he wasn't available to throw out the first pitch at Citi.

The reporter didn't even ask him about the Mets :martin: He did briefly mention Ohtani and said he's having a great playoffs.

.. and throw in the fact that they will do just about anything to protect him from any criticism or accountability. I still don't know how they just swept that story under the rug like, "Yeah Ohtani didn't know anything, oh well lets move on to other news.."

QUEENS NY
Every batter Quintana was ball 1, ball 2.....sh*t is infuriating, just refused to go after anybody.

Of course Joey Boots comes in and the first fastball he throws leads to two runs.
That's Quintana. He relies on living off the plate and getting teams to chase. The Dodgers are very patient at the plate. It was a very bad matchup for Quintana
