Love the Starks and Green picks. Drafting Starks allows them to move Kyle all over the field again. I think they learn to play off each other and confuse the hell out of QBs

Green is in the perfect defense for his skill set. And I’m pretty sure the Ravens are gonna bring in a veteran like Matt Judon or Zadarius Smith at some point so they can use Green in obvious pass situations

TEDDYE BUCHANAN SCOUTING REPORT

Scouting Report: Strengths

  • Processes quickly in zone coverage - watch how he anticipates the throw and jumps the seam route against Sacramento State for his second INT of the game
  • Shows surprising juice as a blitzer when given clear lanes - timed up multiple pressures against Miami's protection schemes
  • Takes efficient angles to the football - consistently puts himself in position to make plays on the perimeter
  • Rarely fooled by misdirection or play-action
  • Reliable wrap-up tackler who drives through contact - showed up repeatedly on crucial third downs against NC State
  • Plays with good discipline against the run - maintains gap integrity and doesn't often overrun his fits
  • Natural feel for underneath coverage zones - understands how to relate to multiple receivers in his area
  • Special teams experience and mentality - projects as an immediate four-phase contributor
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Limited ability to stack and shed - offensive linemen at Auburn and FSU consistently overwhelmed him at the point of attack
  • Average lateral movement skills show up in space - struggled to match more dynamic backs in man coverage
  • Lacks ideal size and length for the position - will face challenges against NFL tight ends
  • Takes the occasional false step in coverage - that wheel route against FSU exposed his diagnostic limitations
  • Can get caught in the wash against power run schemes - needs to improve block destruction technique

Scouting Report: Summary

The tape shows a player who understands his limitations and plays within himself. His success at Cal wasn't flashy, but rather built on consistent execution and football intelligence. In the NFL, he projects best as a backup who can contribute immediately on special teams while developing into a situational defender.

Teams running heavy zone coverage schemes might see more immediate value, as Buchanan's processing speed and reliable tackling could make him serviceable in subordinate packages. The athleticism constraints will likely prevent him from becoming a full-time starter, but his film shows enough awareness and technical soundness to contribute in a specific role.

Bottom line - Buchanan is a high-floor, low-ceiling prospect who could stick around the league for several years as a core special teamer and defensive depth piece. His transition from FCS to Power 5 football demonstrated both his capacity to adapt and his athletic limitations. Smart defensive coordinators will find ways to utilize his football IQ while protecting him from unfavorable matchups.

CARSON VINSON SCOUTING REPORT

Scouting Report: Strengths

  • Above-average mirror ability in pass protection, showing functional footwork that allows him to stay in front of most edge rushers at his competition level.
  • Uses his 6'7" frame effectively in pass protection, though sometimes struggles to maintain leverage against shorter, powerful rushers.
  • Capable run blocker who shows flashes of power at initial contact - demonstrated competent play strength even against Auburn's defensive front.
  • Good recovery ability when beaten - maintains enough balance to redirect against counter moves from SWAC-level competition.
  • Competitive motor evident in his effort to finish blocks and willingness to work to the second level in space.
  • Serviceable kick-slide technique that works against speed rushers at his level - will need refinement against NFL talent.
  • Generally maintains proper knee bend despite his height - important foundation for development at the next level.
  • Shows promise in processing stunts and blitzes - communicates well with teammates but faced limited sophisticated pressure packages.

Scouting Report: Weaknesses

  • Significantly undersized at 305 pounds - consistently struggled when facing power rushers who could get into his frame.
  • Frequently overextends and loses balance against defenders with active hands - technical flaws masked by competition level.
  • Level of competition is a major concern - showed notable adjustment period and occasional confusion against Auburn's defensive schemes.
  • Limited explosive traits - initial kick-step lacks the burst needed for NFL edge protection without significant development.
  • Hand placement requires substantial refinement - tends to place hands wide and lose control against technically sound defenders.

Scouting Report: Summary

Vinson projects as a developmental tackle prospect who could compete for a swing tackle role by mid-season of his rookie year. His stellar track record in pass protection and proven durability over 3,360 snaps suggest a more advanced technical foundation than initially apparent. While the competition level jump is significant, his performance against Auburn showed encouraging adaptability.

His ideal landing spot would be in a zone-heavy system that can maximize his mobility while allowing him to add functional strength. Teams running outside zone concepts could view him as a valuable day three selection with the potential to provide quality depth early while developing into a possible starter. The Senior Bowl will be crucial in validating this projection against elevated competition.

Despite the small-school background, Vinson's high-level pass protection metrics and consistent technical improvement suggest he's closer to NFL-ready than many HBCU prospects. A realistic expectation would be quality depth in year one with potential to push for starting snaps by year two if his development continues on trajectory.

Vinson and Buchanan were projected as undrafted free agents. There were better Olineman available when they picked Vinson. I hope they know something the rest of the NFL and scouts don't know.

BILHAL KONE SCOUTING REPORT

Scouting Report: Strengths

  • Showcases exceptional fluidity in his hips that allows him to mirror receivers through their routes without having to gear down, rare for a corner with his length.
  • Displays patience and composure in press coverage, using a disciplined jab to disrupt timing without getting grabby and drawing flags downfield.
  • Demonstrates advanced route recognition skills against boundary patterns, consistently positioning his body to squeeze receivers toward the sideline.
  • Possesses natural timing when playing the ball, rarely panicking when his back is to the quarterback and trusting his feel for when to turn.
  • Shows impressive body control when transitioning from his side shuffle, maintaining balance while staying in phase with receivers through their breaks.
  • Uses his 6'1" frame effectively to contest catch points, particularly on back-shoulder throws where he can reach around without interfering.
  • Exhibits consistent football intelligence in zone coverage by reading quarterback intentions and jumping underneath routes with conviction.
  • Maintains discipline against double moves and pump fakes, staying connected to his assignment rather than biting on misdirection.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Displays inconsistent footwork when forced to redirect quickly, sometimes crossing his feet and creating unnecessary movement that skilled route runners will exploit.
  • Struggles with transitioning out of his backpedal against sharp-breaking routes, creating separation windows that NFL quarterbacks will target relentlessly.
  • Shows concerning technique as a tackler, often leaving his feet and ducking his head instead of driving through ball carriers with proper form.
  • Lacks ideal play strength when taking on blocks, getting washed out of plays when offensive linemen reach the perimeter against outside runs.
  • Demonstrates questionable ball production relative to his disruptive abilities, failing to convert numerous pass breakup opportunities into game-changing interceptions.

Scouting Report: Summary

Kone brings an intriguing skill set to the NFL as a boundary corner with natural movement skills that belie his 6'1" frame. The tape shows a defensive back who plays with better fluidity than most corners his size, gliding through his transitions rather than laboring. His background across multiple programs has him well-versed in different coverage techniques, though he clearly thrives when using his length in press before bailing into zone responsibilities.

His immediate value will come on special teams while defensive coaches refine his technique. The raw materials are there – length, patience, and football intelligence – but inconsistencies in tackling and transition quickness will limit his early impact. Given time to develop, Kone has the tools to carve out a role in defenses that utilize press-bail techniques and allow corners to leverage their length before dropping into zone coverage. His ball skills show promise, but turning pass breakups into interceptions will determine whether he develops into a rotational player or something more.

Looking ahead, Kone's ceiling depends on two critical factors: improving his tackle technique and refining his footwork at transition points. He won't step in as an immediate starter, but with development focused on these areas, he could grow into a valuable defensive contributor by his second or third season.

These last 3 picks make me feel like the draft is weighted against certain teams accumulating players with high upside. There were better options available at OT and CB when they picked and Buchanan could've been drafted later. This shyt looking as rigged as the games. Don't get me started on the shyt they did to Shadeur Sanders.

Meanwhile, the Giants over there drafting starter after starter.
