I guess that’s the most infamous entity of their time. Probably like shytty Italian mafia/prohibition era mobster names and terms used in the 90’s, and the use of well known crack era figures and terms used in the 2000’s.
Also popularity breeds similarity. The whole young/yung in the 2000’s, the futuristic power names or self descriptive names of the 80’s the. Even the replacing name letters with “v” or “x”, and overuse of the “lil” prefix in the 2010’s.
I think it's Alot like the mafioso era where alot of rappers was talking Gambino names etc.
