Escobar has been having the same at bats since last year. Trying to pull everything outside as a lefty. Swinging at high pitches as a righty. Even when he's ahead in the count he doesn't take convincing swings.

I still think we need another bat in the lineup. This lineup is good enough against the Marlins, but against the big teams I think they'll struggle.

If Carrasco ends up on the IL (velo was down a good amount later in his outting), I'd call up Butto for a start and hope Verlander comes back soon and leave Megill as the fifth starter.

A lot of the relievers they brought that are in the minors are injured so they'd probably have to call up Hartwig if they needed an extra arm in the pen is my guess.
