I've been playing this game since last year:
Mets get 2 on, less than 2 outs, sit back and see if they can get to that third batter.
Perfect example today: 5th inning, 1st & 2nd,1 out, Lindor strikes out on a slurve by his armpit, McNeil grounds out to first. They can never get to that third batter, which is usually a sign that you might have a big inning. Straight bafoonery at the plate when its time to produce.

At this point, I want to see Vientos and Mauricio cuz at least we'd be playing players with potential even if the floor isn't as high as the others. I feel like they're going to stick to what they have right now and hope they turn it around so they won't have to make moves you can't undo.

fukk it…these nikkas suck. You can’t claim to be a good team and can’t win vs teams under 500. If we was just losing to teams like the braves i’d be more forgiving.

I know it's just Washington but this is a game we needed. Max got on track and the offense had a big day. Just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully they can keep it up

I don’t mind losing to the rays, but after we lost to the fukking tigers and nats and the reds. Buck ain’t nothing but the doc rivers of the mlb…can’t even say that cause doc got a ring.

Crazy enough I think I need to see Baty, Escobar and McNeil all in the lineup some way. I also never want to see David Peterson until he pitches a month of godly production in AAA. You are only making him feel worse in the majors getting shelled every outing. I think I'd rather watch Butto.
