I always got a soft spot for converted QBs, especially ones I saw play QB in college. That being said, I think he would be a bit redundant in a 3 receiver set with Hardy. They're both more possession guys. I would rather get a speedster like Benjamin or Jones in FA or Doctson or Fuller in the draft to add some more big play ability to the team. How yall think sanu will fit in this office..heard we in the lead
I feel like we can't use a draft pick on WR with limited picks.I always got a soft spot for converted QBs, especially ones I saw play QB in college. Vegan got us in a corner
What QB are you referencing? Sanu was a WR his whole time at Rutgers, he killed my alma mater back in 2011.
What's your draft strategy? That's debatable. I have a different draft strategy than most though so
I saw him taking snaps in a game before. He was a WR there though, I believe it was an emergency situation or something.

Ideally I want the first 3 rounds to go Lb, DE, and center or guard....in that order. Maybe a wr in the 4th but that WR won't be a starter day 1. I like the kid out of UGA.
Justin Hardy can hold down the slot but we need a real wide out and I can't see us get 1 in the first 3 rounds.
This actually makes a lot of sense. If we can solidify the middle of the oline in free agency this isn't too bad an idea.I don't believe in investing picks in the same round on the same position multiple years in a row. So no 1st round DE(Beasley) or mid round WR(Hardy) this year. Seems redundant to me. I'd rather hedge my bets on high and mid round DE and WR pairs working out than "overinvesting" in DE and having less certainty at WR. Spread out investment and you'll reap more fitting rewards.
I also believe in BPA with very few exceptions(QB and OT my only definites and CB and RB close to it this year) and would have no problems spending our 1st or 2nd on a WR if he was the best player on our board. As much as we talk about Julio, it's going on 5 years since we invested a high(1-2) pick in a WR and we need some youth and upside at that position.

My only qualm would be that if treadwell was off the board at 17, nobody left would warrant that pick as this isn't the deepest draft class. I like will fuller in the 2nd but ideally I would like to trade back if that was the route we went.
