The show is terrible and he's average at best. First season he was a mumbly brooding tough guy with no range reciting shytty dialogue. Sometimes he was angry and sometimes he was very angry

And how the hell did Patti Lupone not get a guest actress nomination for playing The Cut Wife on that episode of Penny Dreadful? She acted the holy fukk out of that part.

That was definitely more deserving than Marco nightingale getting a nom for the Americans I don't even remember her having any scene. If any supported scene from that show deserves a nomination it was Lois Smith

i also wonder how the hell crazy eyes keeps getting nominations for OITNB. she hasn't been that great since the first season yet she won a few awards for S2 and i don't see how she got nominated for s3 when there were definitely way better options from that show.
