I feel what your saying but the only better players you can get are ones with character issues, flawed, or overpaid. Nobody will give you a bonafide star veteran for that pick.



that being said, I would trade them jeff teague in a heartbeat for that pick. He would improve them a lot.

Edit: Lemme explain for the slow dudes who misunderstood my post.

Obviously dude is gigantic leaps and bounds ahead of Thabeet in EVERY aspect of his game. I made the comparison based his bust potential alone. Especially with people hyping him up as the next Hakeem, when his back situation could render him just as usless as Thabeet (who unlike Embiid, just plain sucked).

Think about it. Dude got injured playing in limited minutes against lesser talent on a softer schedule. Can he stay healthy playing a much tougher schedule, in bigger minutes against WAAAY better talent? With the pressure of living up to his hype?

the draft is deep and the pistons could do a lot between now, and next season.
plus, the division is weak as hell.
where svg, has the best results as a coach.
plus, depth in a division that is huff as hell.
just have patience.

If you believe that you dont know basketball. Hasheem didnt have a tenth of embiid's offensive repertoire. With a clean bill of health he would be the clear cut #1 prospect.

What are you basing this on?

If Embiid stays healthy, his floor is a quality starting center, which Thabeet is not
