Sp cubs vs dbacks 8th inning cubs up 8-1 runners on first and third Anthony rizzo up so a pull hitter means a shift.

A shift is used to try and take away shyt right? Which is an attempt at winning the game right?

The runner on third base is alone he can literally walk to home plate and notging will be done to stop him but it's against the unwritten rules.

So if the cubs lose 9-8 should the manager be fired? I say yes

If your gonna try and win then i am to until the final out is made.

Wainwright has been amazing this season. Another 7 inning performance tonight, only 4 hits. Threw a 2-hitter last Thursday. 17 inning scoreless streak.

Best pitcher in baseball killed it tonight. 8 innings, 14s, 0 BBs, 0 runs

Alex Wood killed too. But we stay gettin dominated by all kinda pitchers and we have no small ball players. Look at the past few WS teams, all of them had the gritty guys who could play multiple postilions and do the little things to win. Braves don't really have anybody like that. Ramiro Pena could be that guy :patrice:
