Any Cubs fans in here? Just wondering if the fanbase is getting frustrated yet... that Edwin Jackson contract was TURRIBLE, and the team still doesn't seem anywhere close to contending... Seems like Theo is getting a pass over there...

Cubs fan right here over here yea this guy 100 years of losing I know.

It's all about the farm right now. If some how our bullpen doesn't go straight to shyt again and we play .500 ball that would be a good year. In fact if we play .500 at the all star break we will be buyers. We have a lot of young arms in the minors who could be then established themselves and a lot of infield prospect who project as solid with baez and bryant being top 10 prospects.

The isn't necessarily getting a pass the team is in transition with the re ovations so money is kind of held up right now but Ricketts put his eggs in the o's baskets and is letting him work his way the plan is 2016 when we can maybe get a top of the rotation arm and hopefully a couple of our top 50 prospects a producing
