The issue is draft pick compensation. If team's didn't have to give up a pick to sign them, Drew and Morales would've both been signed months ago.

Isn't there a point when draft pick compensation goes away? I thought it was the start of the season but it could be later on.

Teams with a protected pick could of signed them anyway. Jays were cheap and fukked over Drew. Izturis is playing great but with Reyes injury history, Drew would look good as a Jay.

I'm glad Nathan isn't worried about his dead arm. His performance definitely suggests us fans shouldn't either. :pacspit:

Matt Moore needs Tommy John Surgery. Shame smfh
Man, this shyt is crazy. It's (not) funny, cause I was listening to a podcast the other day, and it was brought up that Tampa hadn't been having serious injury problems with pitchers, and that maybe they had stumbled onto something to prevent it. And then this happens. Unreal.

Man it's crazy. It's to the point where it's not a question of if but "when" a pitcher is gonna need TJS

TJS almost seems like a pre-requisite for being a pitcher now. As soon as a good young pitcher comes up, we're all sitting there like :lupe: waiting for that trip to James Andrews :snoop:

It's just one of those things that I don't think there is any preventing with how much these dudes have pitched once they make the big leagues
