Yeah, I think that's realistic.

Kendrick for Zimm? :leon:
idk

I want someone younger. But ideally an infielder. I think we can fleece someone because breh is hot property right now and is probably the #1 in the 2015 FA class.

I wish we could keep him but those Werth and RZimm contracts.

@HHR @Regular_P and others, what can we get for JZimm?

I cant see him coming back. Do you brehs think we can get some major leaguers?
I would think so, but it's tough to judge the trade market anymore. The Tigers will send back Robbie Ray and Ian Krol for him. :mjcry:

I wonder if the Royals would take a flyer on him, especially if they don't re-sign Shields (please don't let this happen), though that would probably consist of nothing but prospects.

After looking over teams that could really use him (Pittsburgh, Toronto, Milwaukee, Anaheim, ChiSox, Cleveland), they'd probably have to settle for a minor league haul.

The one exception would be Milwaukee. It'd be tough to work out because he's signed through 2017, but a Zimmerman/Gomez swap would be really interesting for both teams. Washington would have to send some other players Milwaukee's way (any good players in their farm system?), but that could benefit both teams.

Edit: I don't know if Cleveland would be tempted with a Zimmerman/Salazar type deal. Kid has great stuff, but it hasn't clicked for him yet.

:pacspit:The Dodgers, angels, and tigers for losing my coli cash. Gotta give it to cards and giants. They know how to win when it counts. Cards my pick to win it all. Kansas city coming out the al. The newbies vs the experienced playoff teams. Liking the two matchups.

If Matt Williams and Don Mattingly aren't managing their team's next April, they have no one to blame but themselves.

fukking Aaron Barrett instead of Tyler Clippard or Stephen Strasburg or Drew Storen.........fukking absurd.
:what: Soren blew game 2 and tried his best to blow game 3
I wouldn't put Strasburg in that situation either.

i want someone in the infield, but thinking about it this AM, I wanna keep him at all costs.

Giolito and Cole are supposed to be big time prospects, but Zimmerman is an ace in talent and mentality. Whatever he wants, Id pay him this offseason.

But if we have to trade him, I want big time prospects in return or an infielder who can step in today.
