Our situational hitting is awful (we are missing Don B badly). Our bullpen? :flabfranchise: Our starters are good. Only pitcher i worry about is CJ Wilson.

Come on breh, Baylor on the bench for 3 games isn't gonna change shyt.

It's only 3 games, what you've seen really doesn't mean anything.....yet.

Im not talking about just on the bench. He really helped JHam, & Trout out in hitting practice. He was working with them a lot. Breh its only 3 games, youre right. We have started slow the last 3 years this shyt isnt new. This is just frustrating breh.

I think Valverde would have been a better pick up..which isn't saying much

for 10 million,that nikka needs to be lights out

I think the A's over-thought this one, I know Grant Balfour wanted to get paid, so the A's thought that since Johnson is younger and believed to be in his prime, and along with the really good bullpen, he would be set up for success. Valverde struggled in the 'offs in 2012, and he is 36, and A's hardly ever pay any old players. Only positive is that its a 1 year deal, problem is I don't see any team wanting to trade what is looking like a mentally shot closer as of right now.
