Beckett no-no was nice. Glad to see it against the Phillies too. He was at 100 pitches in the 7th, I wonder if guys like Fernandez, Gray, Cole, Harvey and the like would be given the go ahead in the same situation.

How about the Giants sort of quietly being the best team in baseball. Every other year magic for them but they need to keep the injuries at zero besides Freddy Sanchez (err Marco Scutaro) because they have no depth at all if 2 SPs go down.

giants already have lots of injuries- belt is out, cain has a hammy issue, casilla is on dl with bigger hammy issue, pagan has fukked up knee since beginning of season, and posey has a bad back currently. its crazy they have best record in baseball at the moment, tbh
not crazy in my opinion. giants have great chemistry and the way bonds help them in the preseason when i watching a bonds interview he told the batters to go with the pitch that's given & forget about the home runs and they listening to them.
plus it doesn't hurt for the giants to beat the teams they should beat also
