Steve Spagnuolo said he anticipates rookie defensive tackle Akiem Hicks getting more playing time going forward.

Hicks, a third-round draft pick, opened the season as one of the Saints' inactives in the opener against the Washington Redskins....
But on Sunday, he was even better. In his most extensive playing time of the season, Hicks was the most active member of the Saints defensive line. He routinely pushed the pocket and finished with eight total tackles.

"Akiem is doing a good job for us," Spagnuolo said. "He did play quite a bit yesterday. I would anticipate him

fukk that bullshyt. if not having a coach has us looking like this, losing a bunch of close games, we might as well have a high 1st round pick and get that player on D that could potentially be a corner stone or a WR that we can put out there with Graham, Sproles, and Colston.

none of that 7-9 shyt the last time we went 0-4 in '07. If im remembering correctly that was the year we got Sedrick Ellis(or was that '06 but whatever)... his ass is gonna be out the door this season anyway. this is a contract year for him and he's still playing like a bum.

it was a good game tho. Pack handled their business.

at least they're playing hard but can't get out of their own way.

oh yeah, Hartley and that miss:comeon:

 You know what is fukked up about this entire "Bountygate" situation is that some of the conditions of the suspensions are completely screwed up. For instance, Curtis Johnson, the former WR Coach of the Saints and current Head Coach at Tulane, tried inviting Sean Payton to a recent game, but part of his suspension is that he is not allowed to attend any college football games. However, just yesterday, Gregg Williams, who is supposed to be suspended indefinitely, was invited to attend the SEA/STL game. If that isn't some bullshyt, I don't know what is.

Payton don't like Goodell and vice versa. The suspension was motivated by Goodell wanting to tamed Payton and make him a look like an evil person. Payton is going apeshyt next year. Watch him run up the score if he have a chance.

Goodell better let Payton and Loomis go to the game Sunday.

The dude who got banned until Goodell says he can come back gets to go to a game but Payton can't:rudy: its too damn obvious Goodell got this dude Gregg under his thumb:smh:

Well, now we know why the Saints looked at a quintet of free-agent receivers on Tuesday.

Lance Moore, who is tied with Marques Colston with 19 receptions for the most among wide receivers, hasn’t practiced this week due to a hamstring injury, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. As a result, he may miss Sunday night’s game against the Chargers.

“It’s a case where guys are going to have to step up and do it,” interim-interim coach Aaron Kromer said. “We have to adjust what we’re doing and fill guys in when we can. It’s hard to replace Lance Moore.”

Without Moore, the Saints have only four healthy receivers: Colston, Devery Henderson, Courtney Roby, and Joseph Morgan.
