Betemit is bad defensively, but Machado's played 2 games at third in the minors. And I dont think he will provide the offense Betemit does. It's an exciting move but I dont know if its the right one.
I will take Machado right now over Betemit. Too much on the line right now. Betemit has been a HUGE liability at 3rd so i think it is the right move. Hope it pays dividends. Bring the young buck up to get a taste of what a pennant/wild card push feels like since he is going to be the future.
