Seriously though I was in Germany last year & they even had an amateur baseball league set up in the small-ish town where I lived & a bunch of them were hardcore fans (think yoyoyo level ), but I never met any people who followed MLB in the UK. The NBA & NFL (especially) have a much bigger following than baseball.

Somehow I believe your Redskins have one of the bigger football fanbases across the Atlantic
