Pitching now and even going forward isn't a huge concern. No need in burning assets for him (even though he's really good and wouldn't mind going after him).

At the moment, (thinking way ahead), the rotation for next year is

Sabathia
Pineda
Nova
Hughes
Kuroda if he wants to come back (and if not him, then have Phelps penciled in for that spot while we get Banuelos ready)

The lineup has more holes to fill going forward.

Is there a trade deadline thread? If so, sorry, didn't see one yet, but: Wandy Rodriguez to the Pirates. Pirates getting money from Houston. Houston has dealt Lee, Lyon, Myers and Wandy so far. Cleaning house.

Luhnow got rid of all that salary. We paying some of it from Wandy but still. He's making it his team now.
