The Orioles hope to activate Brian Roberts (concussion) from the disabled list on Tuesday.
It's when his allotted rehab time expires, so the Orioles will need to add him to the 25-man roster or ask the commissioner's office for an extension. Roberts hasn't appeared in the majors since suffering a major concussion last season, and isn't likely to return to his pre-injury form as he enters the declining stage of his career. He'll presumably push Robert Andino back to a utility role. Jun 9 - 1:51 PM

Jamie Moyer tossed five shutout innings Saturday in his first outing at Triple-A Norfolk.
Moyer walked only one and struck out five. He signed a minor league contract with the O's earlier this week after being released by the Rockies. Baltimore may be tempted to give him a crack in the majors if the success continues, but the 49-year-old left-hander is doubtful to be very effective.
