Sale career K/9 = 10.2

Randy career K/9 = 10.6

Sale career ERA = 2.49

You wanna tell me whats wrong with what I said again? Closest thing to Randy we've seen.

So many things you're not accounting for. Like for starters Randy Johnson maintained a 10.6 K rate over his 22 year career. Chris Sale has pitched for 2 seasons and until this season it was out the bullpen. How is that comparable? You know how many pitchers were good for 3-4 seasons then fell off? Randy's prime years >>>>>>>>>>>> anyone but Pedro Martinez in the modern era.

Knock it off.

Chris Sale has been solid for 9 starts in his career now he's Randy Johnson?

You Chicago nikkas I swear

sale has all the capabilities to be comparable to the big unit
the reason were comparing is b/c if you look@the numbers there about dead on to randys prime years, not his first year starting or anything like that

Sale might not be around long enough. Dude a skeleton with a throwing motion that dont keep you around too long. but while he here..he is going to kill

Gio is 6'0" and has a fastball that is usually in the lower 90's. Does he even throw a slider? fukk you talking about? :pacspit:

Sale actually is comparable to the Unit in stature and what he throws.

thats not what your friend said, he said their numbers are comparable. and their avg fastball velocities are the same this year. sale threw harder as a reliever.
